Keyboard Shortcut for Database Selection in SQL Server Management Studio

In SQL Server 2005 and 2008, to change the database on which to execute the query in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), you can use the keyboard shortcut 'CTRL + U' from the query window to switch to the database selection drop down box. Make the database selection using up and down arrows on the keyboard and click Enter to switch back to the query window to execute the SQL query:

use_database_shortcut_ssms

New keyboard shortcut for database selection in SQL Server 2012 is 'CTRL + ALT + J'.
