Missing 32 bit SQL Server PERFMON counters using 64 bit Windows

On a server with 64 bit Windows installed, when you run the default PERFMON you are running the 64bit version of the application which can only load 64bit counters but 32bit application counters are missing.

If you nave 32bit SQL Server installed, you will not see the SQL Server counters in 64bit Performance Monitor.

You have to load the 32bit version of PERFMON to be able to see the 32 bit SQL Server counters.

To run 32 bit PERFMON you need to do following:

Start -> Run -> MMC /32 PERFMON.MSC

Now, all counters, 32 bit and 64 bit can be monitored.
